Nascido como um doppelgänger de Kundun, Zakard já era habilidoso com a espada desde jovem e superava facilmente outros cavaleiros. Mesmo sendo descendente de Dark Knight, ele não era reconhecido, pois não conseguia usar espada mágica nem magia. Por muito tempo, Zakard escondeu sua origem. Até que, em um treino, ao tentar bloquear um golpe, uma versão fantasma da espada da mão direita apareceu na mão esquerda. Isso mudou tudo. Ele passou a treinar a arte dos fantasmas e dominou a habilidade de transformar a arma em um fantasma, ou até virar um.

O Illusion Knight controla o poder dos fantasmas, invocando uma espada fantasma na mão esquerda para usar várias skills. Ele tem alto poder de ataque em relação à defesa. Também consegue aumentar o dano das habilidades e o ataque via Agilidade.
