TARKAN é um deserto traiçoeiro, agora dominado por monstros temíveis. No nordeste do deserto, o feroz ZAIKAN aguarda qualquer um que ouse desafiá-lo. O deserto de MU abriga alguns monstros muito fortes. Apenas alguns se aventuram em TARKAN para buscar os tesouros rendidos pelo grande monstro ZAIKAN. Este grande deserto sempre foi um lugar traiçoeiro para se explorar. Os restos de muitos guerreiros que ousaram viajar para cá ainda podem ser vistos espalhados por esta terra desolada.
